CEASELESS COLLABORATION—AN INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ARMORY SHOW VIP PROGRAM

As part of The Armory Show’s VIP Program, Marylyn Dintenfass assembled an innovative collaboration between Architect Aida Miron; Photographer/ Videographer Theo Cote; Technologist, Michael Tamburro; and Visual + Sound Artist Paul Kerin, entitled CEASELESS COLLABORATION, for a private studio event with the artists.

This interdisciplinary project will contain visual and video elements and an interactive component as it rethinks the place of the artists’ studio and its relation with the site and the public. Visitors to Dintenfass’ studio will participate in the decision process with their input becoming a part of the final installation.

CEASELESS COLLABORATION is based on a hanging wall installation consisting of large scale photographs of Dintenfass’ previous studio. It is supplemented by an extended grid on the floor, where loose pieces of paper drawn on by participants can be freely arranged, in response to the structure on the wall.
